While many Memorial Day parades were canceled due to the rain Monday morning, some still went on. At the Brunswick-Topsham Memorial Day parade, the crowd cheered in rain boots, rain jackets and with umbrellas overhead.
Spectator Jeremy Kasten said he wasn’t letting a few raindrops stop his family from taking part. “We definitely didn’t want them to put on a parade and have no one show up,” Kasten said, “So we wanted to be here to show our support.”
